The Wall That Heals arrived at the Fishback Soccer Complex in Brookings on June 9. A tribute to those who served, it’s a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.
The Brookings Register was on hand for the arrival — check out our selection of photos from the motorcade route and arrival at the soccer complex, along with a few photos from the welcoming ceremony that took place on June 11.
The exhibit is open to the public 24 hours a day starting from the morning of June 11 and continuing until its closing ceremony at 1:30 p.m. on June 14, with disassembly beginning at 2 p.m.
