Brookings TaeKwonDo competes at Midwest Sport TaeKwonDo Championships

ANOKA, Minn. The Brookings TaeKwonDo competition team competed at the Midwest Sport TaeKwonDo Championships in Anoka, Minn., on April 18.

Seven team members competed, bringing home 13 medals. The following athletes placed in the top three in their different divisions.

• Stephen Anawski, second in sparring and second in forms.
• Tanner Johnson, first in sparring and third in forms.
• Blythe Jones, first in sparring, first in forms and first in weapons.
• Ella Kramer, second in sparring and second in forms.
• Kain Ladegaard, third in forms.
• Jaxon Southern, first in sparring and third in forms
• Laurissa Thomas, third in sparring.
