WATERTOWN A 33-year-old Watertown man died Saturday morning in a single-vehicle crash 10 miles southwest of Watertown.
His name not been released pending notification of family members.
Preliminary crash information indicates the driver of a 2012 Ford Escape was traveling west on 175th Street near 445th Avenue. The vehicle left the roadway, rolled, and entered a slough, coming to rest on its roof in the slough west of the intersection.
The driver, who wasn’t wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
TheSouth Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash. All information released so far is only preliminary.
