South Dakota State senior Tori Kniesche was recognized by The Summit League on Monday as the TicketSmarter Peak Pitcher of the Week. Kniesche was rewarded with the honor for the second consecutive week and for the third time during the 2024 season.

Tess Burns struck out 10 batters while Morgan Norgaard and Tess Twedt each drove in runs in the top of the fifth inning to help the Brookings Bobcats win their season opener 6-5 over Sioux Falls Roosevelt on Tuesday night.
