Students share water knowledge at South Dakota State festival

In May, seventh-grade enrichment students were given the opportunity to volunteer for the Big Sioux Water Festival at South Dakota State University.

The students were in charge of stations that were all about water. Students chose a water station of interest, practiced the station on that day, then presented the station to fifth-grade students from across the state. Most of these stations were hands-on where students had to teach the fifth graders what to do and also tell them the science behind what they were doing.
