Oakwood Lakes to be part of National Trails Day Hike
BRUCE — National Trails Day is held on the first Saturday in June. To mark the event, Oakwood Lakes State Park has invited people of all ages and abilities to utilize the nearly 5 miles of trails available in the park. Trails are open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

BFest concert on June 10
BRUCE — The second in the Bruce summer concert series and farmers market, BFest, is June 10. The farmers market opens at 6 p.m. and the concert begins on the BFest stage in downtown Bruce at 7 p.m.
The musician for this week’s concert is Landree Wilson. Wilson is a Sioux Valley High School graduate, who will share her musical talent and vocals.
Community feedback event planned
AURORA — The City of Aurora will hold a community feedback session from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on June 19 at 102 West Front St. in Aurora.
Aurora’s old city hall building was condemned. So the city has decided to build a new one on the site of the old building. This meeting is a chance for residents to provide input on what the new city hall should look like and what it should offer.
Estelline Rodeo and Alumni Days slated
ESTELLINE — The Estelline Rodeo and Alumni Days will be held June 19 through 21. There is fun and activities for the entire family throughout the weekend. Friday, join the excitement at the rodeo grounds with the rodeo, great food, followed by the fireman’s street dance in Downtown Estelline. Saturday is filled with family fun spanning from Downtown Estelline with a 5K, parade, vendors in the park, and many family games and entertainment, newly located at City Park.
