Mickelson Middle School students earn ‘Good Citizens’ honors

BROOKINGS — Students who earned “Good Citizens” recognition were recently honored for the fourth quarter at Mickelson Middle School.

They attended a luncheon on May 4 that was sponsored by the Brookings Lions Club. These students were chosen because they have exhibited exemplary social and/or academic behavior during the last nine weeks. The club, through its committee on youth, has for many years encouraged, promoted, and recognized good citizenship in our middle school youngsters by inviting them to a noon recognition luncheon.
