HERRICK A Fairfax woman died in a two-car crash 9 miles north of Herrick on Saturday afternoon.
The names of the persons involved have not been released pending notification of family members.
Preliminary crash information indicates the driver of a 2001 Ford F-250, a 40-year-old man from Herrick, was traveling northbound on 350th Avenue near 286th Street. At the same time, the driver of a 2007 Honda CR-V, a 59-year-old woman from Fairfax, was traveling southbound on 350th Avenue.
The vehicles met at the crest of a hill where they collided.
The driver of the Ford was uninjured. The driver of the Honda sustained fatal injuries.
