The Little Leprechaun 4-H club met Oct. 6 at the Brookings County Outdoor Adventure Center after cleaning roadside ditches north of the community gardens.
The meeting was called to order by President Kale Nelsen. The flag salute and 4-H pledge were led by Terra Nelsen. Roll call topic was What is your favorite Hobby?
The secretary report was given by Brenna Nelsen and the treasurer report was given by Liam McCausland.
Club members were congratulated on finishing their record books so completely and turning them in on time.
New business was discussing 4-H week and decorating a Christmas tree at the Brookings Arts Council. Club members were reminded to re-enroll in 4-H for this new 4-H year. The talk this month was, If I dressed up for Halloween, what would I dress up to be this year?”
The next meeting of the Little Leprechauns is set for Nov. 3 at 1 p.m.
