LAKE PRESTON The Lake Whitewood Lutheran Church in Lake Preston will hold a pork barbecue from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Aug. 11.
The church worship services will be at 9:30 a.m. The menu will include barbecued pork sandwiches, beans, potato salad, coleslaw, potato chips dessert and coffee or water.
The cost is a free-will donation with a suggestion of at least $10. Net proceeds will be donated to the Kingsury County cancer walk.
