The South Dakota Art Museum Guild Art Is programs for 2023-24 continue this month when Corey Shelsta, a designer and professor of theatre at South Dakota State University, will speak on the topic Art IsFilling the Empty Space.

The Guild will host the presentation at 10 a.m. on Feb. 27 in the Multipurpose Room on the lower level of the Art Museum. The public is invited to come at 9:30 before the presentation for coffee and social time.

Shelstas artistic talent is well-known to theater-goers in the Brookings area. He designs lighting, scenery and sound for productions at SDSU as well as other theaters in the region.
