BROOKINGS Incumbent Wayne Avery has filed sufficient signatures to be placed on the April 9 ballot for the position of Brookings City Council member, according to the City Clerks Office.
Current Mayor Oepke Niemeyer has also filed sufficient signatures toappearonthe ballot for mayor.
Nominating petitions and candidate packets are available at the City Clerks Office for:
- Mayor (three-year term)
- Two City Council seats (three-year terms)
