The Brookings Rangers split a pair of games over the weekend, falling to Oahe 6-3 on Saturday night before returning home to defeat Sioux Center 8-2 on Sunday afternoon.
The Rangers are now 3-2 on the season and will travel to Mitchell on Friday night.

PIERRE The Capitals scored three goals in the third period to defeat the Rangers at the Fort Pierre Expo on Saturday night.
Sawyer Triplett put the Rangers on the board early with her goal from Julissa Peterson at 1:29 of the first period but the Capitals answered with Emily Nemecs power play goal from Brylee Kafka at 2:24 of the first period.
Oahe took the lead in the second period on Brenna Ulmanns goal from Ava Lavinger at 2:31 of the second period but the Rangers scored back-to-back goals from Triplett (from Kinzey Grendler and Shauna Pederson at 12:00) and Miyah Foerster (from Triplett on the power play at 14:38) to take a 3-2 lead.
The Capitals scored the final four goals of the game however, including Katherin Reisss game-tying goal from Lavinger and Kiersten Miller at 15:11 of the second period.
Micah Buffalos goal from Miller gave the Capitals the lead at 5:30 of the third period and Brylee Kafka and Reiss added goals to seal the game for Oahe.
Rorii Quam made 17 saves for the Rangers while the Capitals outshot Brookings 23-16.
Brookings 8, Sioux Center 2
BROOKINGS The Rangers bounced back to defeat Sioux Center at the Larson Ice Center on Sunday afternoon.
The Rangers opened the scoring with their first of three power play goals from Anna Rasmussen with assists from Triplett and Kinzey Grendler at 5:18 of the first period and then got back-to-back goals from Miyah Foerster, the first unassisted at 11:04 and the second on the power play from Rasmussen at 14:27, to extend the lead.
The Storm answered with an unassisted goal from Geonella Ramirez at 16:27 of the first period but Triplett extended the lead with back-to-back, unassisted goals at 4:38 and 14:46 of the second period. Maggie Wright scored for Sioux Center to make it a 5-2 game heading into the second intermission but Triplett scored again on the power play at 4:44 of the third period before Foerster scored on a goal from Ava Kahle at 7:48 of the third period and Rasmussen scored unassisted at 11:26 of the third period to cap the scoring.
Quam started in net and made 16 saves in the win as the Rangers outshot the Storm 32-18.
