BROOKINGS The Brookings bowling teams swept a pair of duals against West Central on Friday at The Lanes in Brookings. The girls improved to 5-0 as they won 49-1 and the boys improved to 2-3, winning 45-5.

Brookings 49, West Central 1
The Bobcats had three bowlers roll a total of over 600. Brooklyn Hieb led the way with a total of 686. She had a 263, 212 and 211. Catelyn Vernarsky had a total of 617 with a 182, 222 and 213. Peyton McBride rolled a total of 607 with a 245, a 189 and a 173.
Teagen Bremmon rolled a 576 (157, 204, 215). Maddey Austriem rolled a 479 (170, 168, 141) and Alexix Hieb had a total of 448 (134, 179, 135).
Boys
45, West Central 5
Gage Craft led the Bobcats with a total of 616. He rolled a 196, a 205 and a 215. Adrian Howard had a total of 569 with a 184, a 20 and a 183. Holden Austreim rolled a 564 with a 174, a 184 and a 206.
Dylan Schubelek had a total of 527 (171, 152, 204) and Riley Owens rolled a 451 (151, 119, 181). James Teft rolled a total of 451 (151, 119, 181).
