Six local athletes signed their letters of intent to play college sports at the Bell Auditorium in Brookings High School on Wednesday afternoon.

The local athletes include, from left, Brooklyn Hieb, who will bowl at the Savannah College of Art and Design (Ga.); Jazymyn Lunn, who will swim at the University of Nebraska; Cierra Strand, who will wrestle at Dakota Wesleyan University; Junior Eberline, who will play soccer at Dakota Wesleyan University; Nithin Perumal, who will play soccer at Iowa Lakes Junior College; and Rylan Eide, who will play soccer at Mount Marty University.
