BROOKINGS — Nail the Runway sponsored by Brookings Home Team powered by C21 Krogman and Co. was recently held at the Dacotah Bank Center. The Habitat for Humanity benefit welcomed several local designers and models to create unique fashion from primarily construction materials. Winners this year include:
Best Use of Design Element: "Bardolf," designed by Julia Schaar, modeled by Logan Schaar
Most Innovative Use of Construction Materials: "A Knight and His Dragon," designed by Wendy, Gabriel, and Beau Long, modeled by Gabriel and Beau Long
Most Wearable: "Medallion Pencil Skirt and Vest," designed by Sarah and Stacy Burkhalter-Sweeny and Sally Pies, modeled by Hope Burkhalter
Peoples Choice: "Retro 1920's Throwback," designed by Kela Hansen, modeled by Bryley Jenkins
