The family of Donald and Darleen (nee Christopherson) Ploeger will travel to Brookings for an interment service on Friday, April 5 at 10 a.m. Donald died at the age of 90 in August of 2023 and Darleen died at the age of 70 in June of 2011.
Donald and Darleen will be interred next to William and Elsie Ploeger at Greenwood Cemetery, Brookings. The Rev. Micah Bauer of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church will officiate.
Donald and Darleen left South Dakota in the summer of 1977, moving to Las Vegas, NV, where they lived out their days.
They are the parents of Terry (Julie), Traci Ann (Rick), Tim (Laura), and Troy (Tammy).
Following the service, the family will gather at the Pheasant Restaurant in Brookings for a Bereavement Luncheon.
The Rudes Funeral Home is assisting the family with the South Dakota arrangements.
