The Brookings Bobcats earned their first dual win of the season while competing at a quadrangular at Sioux Falls Lincoln High School on Thursday afternoon.

Bobcats earns first win of the year at Sioux Falls quad

SIOUX FALLS – The Brookings Bobcats earned their first dual win of the season while competing at a quadrangular at Sioux Falls Lincoln High School on Thursday afternoon.

The Bobcats defeated Rapid City Central 6-3 at the quadrangular while falling to Sioux Falls Lincoln and Harrisburg by a score of 9-0.
The Bobcats are now 1-4 on the season and will compete in a dual with Sioux Falls Roosevelt at 11:30 on Saturday.

Brookings 6, Rapid City Central 3
Andrew Hahn picked up a 10-0 win over Noah McGarth in the fourth flight while Zach Mueller lost to Hugh Knickrehm 10-1 in the third flight. Kasen Fixen defeated Greyson Weston 10-7 in the sixth flight while Carson Kreie lost in a 14-12 tiebreaker to Triston Ducheneaux for a final score of 10-9 in the second flight.

Braylon Peters wrapped up singles action by losing to Anson Griffin in the first flight.

Brookings swept the doubles flight with Peters and Kreie defeating Griffin and Knickrehm 8-4 in the first flight. Mueller and Hahn defeated Ducheneaux and Taylor 8-5 in the second doubles flight and Stedman and Fixsen defeated Weston and McGarth 8-3 in the third doubles flight.

Sioux Falls Lincoln 9, Brookings 0
Peters lost to Rocky McKenzie in straight sets by scores of 6-0 in the first flight and Kreie lost to Drew Gohl 6-0, 6-0 in the second flight. Mueller lost to River McKenzie 6-0, 6-0 in the third flight and Hahn lost to Chris Tao 6-0, 6-1 in the fourth flight.

Stedman lost to Jacob Husser 6-0, 6-0 in the fifth flight while Fixen lost to Connor Husser 6-0, 6-0 in the sixth flight.

Peters and Kreie lost to Rocky McKenzie and Gohl 6-0, 6-0 in the first doubles flight while Muller and Hahn lost to River McKenzie and Tao 6-0. 6-0 in the second doubles flight. Stedman and Fixen lost to Jacob and Connor Husser by scores of 6-1 and 6-0.

Harrisburg 9, Brookings 0
Fixen lost to Ozil Sharma 10-3 in the sixth flight while Mueller lost to Cooper Rutt 10-1 in the third flight. Hahn lost to Brayden Rausch 10-1 in the fourth flight while Stedman lost to Evan Miller 10-1 in the fifth flight. Peters lost to Rallis 10-0 in the first flight while Kreie lost to Max Ragon 10-0 in the second flight.

Peters and Kreie lost to Rallis and Rogan 10-1 in the first doubles flight while Stedman and Fixen lost to Miller and Sharma in the third doubles flight. Mueller and Hahn lost to Rutt and Rausch 10-0 in the second doubles flight.
