BRANDON – The Miss South Dakota USA and Miss South Dakota Teen USA competitions will be held Sunday in Brandon.
The competition will be held at 4 p.m. at the Brandon Valley Performing Arts Center.
Jaimye Lynn Wininger of Brookings will compete in the Miss South Dakota Teen USA contest. She is sponsored by the Your Special Day dress shop and Paula’s Hair Studio.
This year’s state titleholders will receive thousands of dollars in prizes and awards and will have the opportunity to compete for the national titles of Miss USA and Miss Teen USA. The national contest will be held on national television next spring.
The competition consists of three proportional segments: evening gown, fitness/swimwear and personality interviews.

Eligible young women must be between the ages of 14 and 27 and be unmarried residents of South Dakota.
