On the course and in the classroom, the South Dakota State men's golf team has excelled. The Jackrabbits were one of 103 Division I teams named to the Golf Coaches Association of America's All-Academic Team for a second consecutive year Wednesday.
The Jackrabbits posted a 3.11 GPA. IPFW was the only other Summit League member to be honored.
Last week, senior Grant Smith was named a Cleveland Golf/Srixon names All-America Scholar by the Golf Coaches Association of America for the second consecutive year.
The two-time defending Summit League champions open their fall season in September.
