Harley Lowell Stegner, 74, of West Covina Calif., died Dec., 15, 2016.
His ashes were placed at Riverside National Cemetery, in California on March 10, 2017.
He was born in Hendricks, Minn., on Feb., 19, 1942, to Harold and Judy Stegner
Harley served in US Army. He attended technical school in Minneapolis, where he learned to make orthotics.
Harley ran the shoe store in Hendricks, repairing shoes, and canvas as well as selling shoes retail. He continued making a life selling shoes in Brookings, and surrounding five-state area. He then moved to California opened a retail shoe store and made custom orthotics.
He is survived by three children, Jacquelyn East, Shawn Stegner and Lisa Stegner; his wife, Linda; his brother John Stegner; Eileen Buller, and Adele Krans; seven grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Harley was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Stegner.
