MONTROSE – Dylan LeBrun posted a big double-double as Flandreau rolled past McCook Central/Montrose 64-29 in a Big East Conference boys’ basketball matchup Friday night.
The senior scored 30 points on 13-of-21 shooting and grabbed 16 rebounds in just 23 minutes of action.
The Fliers led 19-9 after a quarter, 34-15 at halftime and 59-27 through three.
Nathan Cloud added 11 points, and Connor LeBrun and Nathan Kneebone chipped in with eight apiece.
Flandreau shot 50 percent (26-of-52) from the field while limiting MCM to 27.3 percent (12-of-44).
Bryce Smart paced the Fighting Cougars with 11 markers.
Flandreau (8-3, 3-0) takes on Tea Area in the Hanson Classic today at 7 p.m. at the Corn Palace in Mitchell. MCM (4-7, 2-4) heads to Freeman on Tuesday.
