BROOKINGS – NorthWestern Energy delivers a Bright Surprise of encouragement to Dakota Prairie Elementary staff.
Rising above the challenges of remote learning didn’t go unnoticed for first grade teacher, Tara Carlson, who was nominated for this award by being an amazing teacher who makes school fun.
Carlson was nominated by Brookings community member and NorthWestern Energy employee, Tiffany Skinner, who recognized and matched the inspiration with her nomination.
The charitable grant program was designed to encourage the front line heroes of education, while boosting a small business in the awarded school’s community.
In honor of Education Week and Carlson’s example, the entire staff at Dakota Prairie Elementary was awarded a Bright Surprise from Choco Latte.
