BROOKINGS – SDSU head coach Nicole Cirillo announced Wednesday that Erin Cutts of the high school class of 2017 has signed a National Letter of Intent to enroll at SDSU and play for the Jackrabbits.
"I am extremely excited to welcome Erin to the Jackrabbits family," Cirillo said. "She is a fantastic addition to our middle hitter position, bringing quickness, athleticism and offense to our gym."
Cutts is a two-time all- Middle Border Conference selection from Osceola, Wisconsin. The 5-foot-10 middle hitter was named the 2016 MBC Player of the Year after hitting .378 with 148 kills and collecting 41 solo blocks. A three-year letterwinner, Cutts helped the Chieftains to conference and regional titles this past season and was named team MVP.
Cutts also played at the club level with the Kokoro Volleyball Club.
