BRANDON – The Brookings boys’ golf team is in a tie for ninth place after one round of the Warrior/Lynx Invite. The Bobcats shot a 331 as a team at the Brandon Golf Course on Monday and are tied with Brandon Valley.
Sioux Falls O’Gorman shot a five-over, 289, and is in first place.
Jase Bauer is the leader for the Bobcats after shooting an 81 and is tied for 27th place. Austin Clark is right behind him as he shot an 82 and is tied for 30th.
Egan Jensen is one stroke behind Clark and is tied for 35th. Cale Jones shot an 85 and is tied for 44th.
Kade Brecher is tied for 54th after shooting an 87 and Tyson Lunn shot an 88 and is tied for 59th.
O’Gorman’s Radley Mauney is in first place after shooting a seven-under 64 in the first round.
The second round of the tournament, which is hosted by Brandon Valley and Sioux Falls Washington, will take place on Tuesday at Willow Run Golf Course in Sioux Falls.
