DELL RAPIDS – The Brookings bowling teams swept Dell Rapids on Friday, as the girls won 43-7 and the boys handed the Quarrier their first loss by a 34.5-15.5 margin.
Kyra Ernst led the Bobcat girls with a 512 (176-179-157) series. Brooklyn Hieb added a 467 (175-137-155) and Katlyn Pederson and Ellie Fitzpatrick both had 450s.
The boys were paced by Dylan Cramer’s 567 (162-180-225) series. Mason McManus added a 535 (222-145-168) and Gabe Boyer a 533 (167-200-166).
The Bobcat junior varsity girls moved to 6-0 with a 46-0 victory behind Catelyn Vernarsky’s 473 (177-130-166) series.
The JV boys fell 28-18.
Brookings takes on Harrisburg on Friday at 3:30 p.m. at Eastway in Sioux Falls.
