BROOKINGS The Brookings Birding Club will meetJan. 10 at 7 p.m. in the Larson Nature Center at Dakota Nature Park.
The program will be Margy Pearson talking about Texas birding on the Gulf of Mexico.
A typical bird seen there, but not in South Dakota, is the greater road runner.
The club will also discuss the results of the Christmas Bird Count in Brookings. Meetings of the Brookings Birding Club are free and open to all interested people. The club normally meets the second Wednesday of each month.
