BROOKINGS The Brookings boys golf team came in third place at the Bill Scholten Invitational at the Brookings Country Club on Monday.
The Bobcats shot 299 as a team. OGorman won the tournament with a score of 295. Harrisburg came in second (297) and Watertown finished in fourth (300). Yankton rounded out the top five (302).
Tyson Lunn was the top finisher for Brookings and he came in third after shooting a 61. Issak Earley came in eighth (73) and Andrew Heinze tied for 20th (75). Jack Baszler came in 44th (80) and Rhys Heiberger came in 73rd (87). Jase Bauer was the final competitor for the Bobcats and he came in 76th (88).
Brookings will return to the course on Friday at the Mitchell Invite.
