BROOKINGS — It was a splendidly hot day on May 26 when the Hillcrest Aquatic Center in Brookings opened for the season — and, unsurprisingly, it drew a crowd to the cool waters in the aquatic center’s pools, play features and slides.
Brookings Register reporter Mondell Keck took photos of the activities; look closely, and perhaps you’ll see yourself, friends or family members having a great time.
The aquatic center is open seven days a week from 1 to 7 p.m. Daily admission is $7. For more information, head on over to the city’s website.
