Despi Haritos, 98, of Brookings, SD fell asleep in the Lord on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at the Neighborhoods at Brookview, Brookings, SD. Funeral Services have been set for 10:30am Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Rude’s Funeral Home, Brookings, SD. Visitation will be held from 9:00am to 10:00am at Rude’s Funeral Home, with Prayers to start at 10:00am and the Funeral to follow. My late mother in law, Donabel Ross, was a special friend of Despi’s at The Neighborhoods. In fact, Donabel helped Despi with her meals, which meant alot to Despi. As they both lived there, it was quality time for them to be together despite health challenges. So, heres a nod to being a good friend to others, and love knows no bounds, no matter what the age. God bless your memory, Despi.
