American Legion Post 88 of White and Scouting America Troop 4, sponsored by the First Lutheran Church of Brookings, sponsored a Ham and Hamburgers Bingo Night on April 6 in White.
A crowd of 225 area residents attended for a fun evening of good food, making great friends, and supporting the worthy cause of helping young people become responsible adults.
Through the efforts of the evening, $4,500 was raised which will go a long way toward supporting Troop 4 as they pursue their summer camping programs.
