- Dallas James Swanson, 41, of 3250 Western Ave. S. Lot 9, unauthorized ingestion of controlled substance in schedules I or II, fined $1,030.50 and sentenced to five years in the state penitentiary and 16 days in Brookings County Detention Center; misdemeanor violation of no-contact provision, fined $496.50 with $281.19 restitution and sentenced to 60 days in BCDC, all penitentiary time and 40 days of jail time suspended upon conditions imposed by the court, suspended execution of sentence.
- Laura E. Bunten, 39, Council Bluffs, Iowa, third-degree burglary, fined $1,247.59 with $2,500 restitution and sentenced to four years in the state penitentiary and 45 days in BCDC, all penitentiary time suspended upon conditions imposed by the court, suspended execution of sentence.
- Mataya Rose Arens, 19, Sioux Falls, possession of controlled substance in schedules I or II, fined $600 and sentenced to 15 days in BCDC, suspended imposition of sentence.
