HARRISBURG The Brookings Bobcats suffered their seventh straight loss as they fell to Harrisburg 69-44 on Tuesday night.
The Bobcats held a 15-11 lead at the end of the first quarter but were held to three points in the second quarter before trailing 23-18 at halftime. Harrisburg broke the game open with a 28-12 advantage in the third quarter and led 51-30 before out-scoring the Bobcats 18-14 in the fourth quarter.
Keech Bior led Brookings with 13 points while Ben Moret and Sam Johnson had seven points each. Brodie McCarty and Austin Clark also had five points each while Cole Skyberg and Jones Huntimer each had a basket in the game.
Jacoby Mehrman had a game-high 30 points for Harrisburg while Braedan VanBockern had 17 points. Camden Phipps had 10 points for the Tigers while Crayton Jibben had five points.
The Bobcats will return to action when they host Mitchell at Bob Jostad Gymnasium on Thursday night.
