The Scouts of Troop 251 have been busy raising money for camp, spending one Monday a month at Pizza Ranch, and March 10 serving chili in Hendricks, Minnesota. After raising money for camp, the Scouts quickly turned around and helped those in need.
On Feb. 29, the old school house in Aurora, which housed apartments, burned down. Seeing a need, the Scouts acted quickly, after their fundraiser, to facilitate another fundraiser that raised over $800 to those families who lost their homes.
Spending a recent Thursday night serving their famous chilis they did their good turn. Scouts like Samantha Hauschild, Robert Bailey, Nicholas Havard, Aiden Bailey and Markus Pawlovich comforted those who needed it most.
