Tara Marie Jacobs passed away Jan. 19, 2024, at her home in Mounds View, Minnesota, at the age of 44. She passed peacefully with her devoted husband Mat by her side.
Tara was born in Huron, South Dakota, to James and Catherine (Carlson) Stanley on Aug. 18, 1979.
She is survived by her loving husband, Mat; her son Finnius and stepson Trent, and by her mother Cathy Stanley (Dean) of Arlington, South Dakota; her brother Justin (Deann) Stanley and their children of Brookings, South Dakota.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 30, at GracePoint Church in Brookings South Dakota. At this time, family and friends will gather from 1 to 4 p.m.
This will be a time for family and friends to share pictures and stories of Tara if they choose to.
Tara had a kind heart, was thoughtful and loved all living things,
She was very family oriented and was an amazing mother, wife, daughter and sister.
Tara leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins and countless friends to mourn her and cherish the blessing of beautiful memories.
