BROOKINGS — Four businesses failed an alcohol compliance check conducted by the Brookings Police Department on April 10.
A total of eight businesses were audited, according to a Monday news release from the BPD.
The four that failed did so by serving to an underage buyer, Lt. Joe Fishbaugher wrote in the release. The four that failed were:
• Casey’s gas station, 620 Eighth St. S.
• Casey’s gas station, 534 22 nd Ave. S.
• Buffalo Wild Wings, 1801 Sixth St.
According to the South Dakota Department of Revenue, fines and penalties can be imposed on licensees, clerks and those who furnish alcohol to underage individuals. Complete details can be found online at https://tinyurl.com/ytr9dejf.
