Brookings OLLI receives financial gift from First Bank & Trust

Posted

Members of Brookings Osher Lifelong Learning Institute received a generous gift from First Bank and Trust for the spring semester. This financial support will allow OLLI members to take advantage of reduced activity fees for several classes.

A part of this gift has already been used to reduce the cost of the CPR/AED Lifesaving class and the Farm-to-Table lunch at Craft Chophouse & Lounge. Additional funds will now be used to reduce the cost of the Chair Yoga sessions and the Kokedama Living Artwork classes. (People who already registered for these classes will receive a credit in their OLLI accounts, and people who want to register will get the classes for the new, lower price.)

The remainder of the gift will help pay for catalogs, flyers, promotion, recruitment, advertisement, speaker fees, rental fees, chamber membership and more.

Brookings OLLI members are extremely thankful and grateful to receive financial support from First Bank & Trust who is partnering with OLLI to make lifelong learning a priority.
