BROOKINGS — If you are grieving the loss of a loved one by suicide, you are invited to Touchstone Grief Group: Understanding Your Suicide Grief, led by the Rev. Stephen Palo at Ascension Lutheran Church in Brookings on Mondays, 6:30-8 p.m., April 8-May 20.
As you journey through the wilderness of grief, you ask yourself: How do I live, now? Why did this happen? Why has life slowed down? When will my grief end? Am I going crazy? When will I stop bursting into tears? Who am I….now?
The group will explore these questions, and those that you bring to the group. The group will discuss touchstones for finding hope and healing, look at the six needs of mourning, dispel some myths about grief, learn to embrace the uniqueness of your grief, create a safe place for you to receive support and be heard.
To sign up, call Palo at 605-692-6565 or email stephenp@brookings.net.
