Tuesday, Jan. 16
2:15 a.m. Officers made an arrest for DUI.
3:59 a.m. Brookings Police responded to an argument. A female was arrested for violating a no-contact order.
9:02 a.m. Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries. A city accident report was completed.
12:02 p.m. Officers responded to an apartment for a possible drug theft. The incident is under investigation.
Wednesday, Jan. 17
8:29 a.m. Officers took a report of counterfeit currency.
3:59 p.m. Brookings Police took a report of an attempted scam, over the phone, by an unknown suspect. No money was sent. A report will be completed for documentation purposes.
7:29 p.m. Law enforcement took a petty theft report.
8:08 p.m. Brookings police took a theft report.
8:38 p.m. Officers responded to a residence for an attempted break in that had occurred. A report was taken.
8:49 p.m. Law enforcement arrested one male for a no contact violation
