SIOUX FALLS — All 10 area track & field teams competed in the Howard Wood Relays on Saturday.

Class AA

Brookings

The relay team of Griffen Bartels, Elie Wogondombi, Nathan Smith and Jon Kahler were the only first place finishers for the Bobcats as they won the Sprint Medley Relay after posting a time of 3:37.27. Kahler, Wogondombi, Smith and Trevin Lounsbury finished in fourth (10:50.17) in the Sprint Medley Relay.
Kahler, Smith, Wogondombi and Cole Hockett came in 11th (3:32.00) in the 4x400 relay. Alex Wainman finished in 36th in the javelin throw after posting a throw of 126 feet and seven inches.

On the girls’ side the relay team of Lily Murray, Ava Petterson, Kennedy Ronning and Cadence Dauer came in 21st (4:26.44) in the 4x400 relay. Alaina Evans, Ronning, Elise Lefers and Amari Ward came in 23rd (53.03) in the 4x100 relay. Ronning also came in 20th (9-09.00) in the pole vault.

Class A

Sioux Valley

Donovan Rose finished in 10th (15.56) in the 110 meter hurdles and 30th (42.25) in the 300 meter hurdles (42.25). The relay team of Brock Christopherson, Carson Wosje, Mitchell Guthmiller and Brady Hiltunen came in eighth (3:36.59).

Isabelle Bloker came in fifth in the girls 1600 meter run (5:03.42) and Adison Renkly finished in 32nd (16.52) in the 100 meter hurdles. The relay team of Maci Licht, Liberty Trygstad, Ava Gatzke and Talya Vincent came in 22nd (10:38.04) in the 4x800 relay. Summer Guthmiller finished in 20th in the discus (112-03).

Flandreau

The relay team of Micah Otto, Benjamin Klum, Paul Parsley and Brenton Westberry finished in 13th (3:51.22) in the Sprint Medley Relay. Westberry, Klum, Otto and Parsley came in 18th (3:38.97) in the 4x400 relay. Westberry finished in 49th in the 400 meter run (54.35).

On the girls’ side the team of Ella Hoffman, Morgan Sheppard, Kiley Westberry and Faith Wiese came in second (4:20.42) in the Sprint Medley Relay. Westberry, Sheppard, Wiese and Josie Hamilton came in fifth (9:54.21) in the 4x800 relay. Wiese, Westberry, Hoffman and Sheppard came in sixth (4:13.78) in the 4x400. Wiese came in eighth (5:07.24) in the 1600 meter run and Sheppard finished in 18th (1:00.97) in the 400 meter run.

Elkton-Lake Benton

Blake DeVries finished in 11th (41.26) in the 300 meter hurdles and 39th (16.75) in the 300 meter hurdles. The team of Riddick Westley, Colt Beck, Tanner Stein and Quinten Poindexter came in 16th (1:35.18) in the 4x200 relay.

Poindexter came in seventh (6-02.00) in the high jump and 38th (18-11.00) in the long jump. Stein finished 24th (40-03.75) in the triple jump.

Class B

Colman-Egan

The team of Jonny Keyes, Jack Mousel, Christopher Lee and Jase Mousel finished in fourth (45.26) in the 4x100 relay. Jase Mousel, Sutton Bunde, Jackson Zwart and Jack Mousel came in 13th (3:44.11) in the 4x400 relay and Lee came in 20th (11.24) in the 100 meter dash. Jase Mousel came in 16th (41-02.25).

On the girls’ side the team of Elaina Rhode, Lanie Mousel, Crystal Silvia-Dominguez and Daniela Lee won the 4x100 relay (51.56). Lanie Mousel, Brynlee Landis, Finley Luze and Daniela Lee came in second (1:48.71) in the 4x200 relay. Presley Luze, Finley Luze, Crystal Silivia Dominguez and Brynlee Landis came in third (4:13.78) in the 4x400 relay.

Presley Luze, Finley Luze, Silvia-Dominguez and Brynlee Landis came in fifth (10:16.08) in the 4x800. Lee came in 13th (12.66) in the 100 meter dash.

Deubrook Area

The team of Jaxon Quail, Landen Johnson, Jake Jorenby and Gavin Landmark won the 4x400 relay (3:30.26). Charlie Olsen, Johnson, Quail and Landmark won the 4x800 relay (8:14.39). J.P. Rogness, Johnson, Quail and Jorenby came in third (1:33.02) in the 4x200. Jorenby came in 13th in the high jump (6-00.00) and 36th (38-04.00) in the triple jump.

Makenna Ekern, Kylee Johnson, Kadence Bowne and Nora Olsen won the 4x800 relay (4:22.25) and Akasha Gorecki, Kadence Bowne, Kylee Johnson and Nora Olsen won the Sprint Medley Relay (4:22.25). Gorecki, Kyra Bowne, Kadence Bowne and Kylee Johnson finished in eight (1:53.13) in the 4x200 relay. Nora Oslen came in 34th (5:23.64) in the 1600 meter run and Kianna Schmit came in 25th (34-05.75) in the shot put.

Arlington

Chloe Raw came in third in the 100 meter dash (12.14) and 31st in the long jump (15-06.00). Raw, Harley Johnson, Halley Miller and Kaelyn Ulmschmid came in seventh (4:30.35) in the Sprint Medley Relay.

Iroquois/Lake Preston

The team of Josh McMasters, Nathan Enninga, Ben Curd and Lucas Peskey came in 21st in the 4x200 relay (1:42.17).
Adison Moore came in 11th (59.84) in the 400 meter run and 15th (12.72) in the 100 meter dash. Fini Kamps, Moore, Faith Steffensen and Amelia Holland came in 17th (54.93) in the 4x100 relay. Hadlee came in ninth (120-03) in the discus and 17th (36-02.00) in the shot put.

Estelline/Hendricks

Sadie Johnson came in 26th (25-07.00) in the pole vault and 28th (25-07.00) in the long jump. She also came in 30th (48.79) in the 300 meter hurdles.

Oldham-Ramona-Rutland

The team of Kenlee Hansen, Rylan Pearson, Julia Trygstad and Bailey Hyland came in 19th (1:55.74) in the 4x200 relay. Alivia Bickett came in 26th (34-05.50) in the shot put.
