The staff at the Wooden Legs Brewing Co. held a “Giving Back Tuesday Trivia Event” last week.
Wooden Legs partnered with Feeding Brookings to raise donations and collect canned green beans for their upcoming Christmas dinner package they will be giving to families in need in late December.
A sitcom-themed trivia night was held with questions about sitcoms and TV shows like “Friends,” “Seinfeld,” “How I Met Your Mother” and “New Girl.” For bonus points trivia teams could donate canned green beans or cash donations.
Wooden Legs raised $601 and 222 cans of green beans.
