BROOKINGS – An alcohol compliance check by the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office netted two businesses on Friday, Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring said.
“A total of 11 businesses were checked in Brookings County. Two businesses failed the compliance check and sold alcohol to a 20-year-old buyer,” Sebring said.
The businesses that failed were Steel Grit Bar & Grill in Bruce and Six Mile Creek Golf Club in White.
“During the previous compliance check in January 2018, no businesses made sales to the underage buyer,” Sebring said.
