BROOKINGS – Tools were stolen last week and Brookings Police are looking for whoever took them, Lt. Marci Gebers said.
The theft was reported at 7:31 a.m. Dec. 4 and occurred in the 2400 block of 10th Street around 3:45 a.m. that day, she said.
“The suspects made forced entry into a secured apartment complex, and the thefts would have occurred in the parking garage of that building,” she said.
Stolen were a gray tool box with several miscellaneous tools, a Bosch cordless drill in a case with two 18-volt battery packs and miscellaneous drill bits, and a Greenworks cordless leaf-blower with a battery pack. There was no estimate on the value of the items.
