BROOKINGS – A teenager was injured in a rollover north of Brookings Tuesday, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident was reported at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday, Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring said.
Curt Daniel Homola, 18, of Lake Norden, was driving a 2009 Ford F250 westbound on 207th Street east of 471st Avenue, “when the vehicle went off the roadway into the north ditch, struck a field approach and rolled,” Sebring said.
“Curt was transported to the Brookings hospital by the Brookings Ambulance with unknown injuries. Curt was wearing a seatbelt,” Sebring said.
The pickup was deemed a total loss, he added.
The accident is under investigation with the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
