Seth Murray, 30, of Watertown, died Jan. 12, 2018, at his residence.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service and a Time of Sharing, Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, at Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel in Watertown. Graveside services will be Saturday Jan. 20, 2018, at 2:30 p.m. at West Sinai Cemetery with fellowship at 3 p.m. in the Sinai Lutheran Church basement.
Seth James Murray was born Nov. 15, 1987, in Aberdeen to David and Kathleen (Olson) Murray. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Stratford. He attended Warner School and graduated from Warner High School in 2006. He played the clarinet in school band and was a sports videographer. Seth graduated from Lake Area Technical School with a degree in welding. Seth was currently working at Hy-Vee and enjoyed helping customers.
He enjoyed playing computer games such as Star Trek, Star Wars and Harry Potter. Seth had a beautiful soul and took joy in the simple things in life, was selfless and put others before himself.
Survivors are his parents, Kathleen and David of Stratford; siblings, Jason Murray of Aberdeen, Andrew Murray of Columbia, Lucas Murray of Aberdeen, Brandon Murray of Aberdeen, Matthew Murray of Stratford and Elizabeth Murray of Aberdeen; niece, Troian Lambert; his grandmother, Christy Olson of Brookings; uncles Bob (Joan) Olson and Steve (Cel) Olson all of Volga; aunts, Joanne Traphagen of Aberdeen, Carolyn Hildebrand of Fridley, MN and Anna (Patrick) Cahill of Great Falls, Montana; and several cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Walter “Pulley” Olson; and grandparents, Eugene (Lidwina) Murray.
