SDSU women’s golf releases schedule

BROOKINGS – South Dakota State women’s golf coach Ericka Schneider has announced the Jackrabbits’ 2022-23 schedule. The season’s highlights include hosting the Jackrabbit Fall Invitational at the Brookings Country Club, a trip to the Bahamas and the Spring Jackrabbit Invitational in Nevada. 

The Jacks open the fall season at the William and Mary Invitational September 12-13 in Williamsburg, Virginia. SDSU returns home the following week to defend its title at the Fall Jackrabbit Invitational September 19-20 at the Brookings Country Club.

State will make the trip to Las Cruces, New Mexico for the Aggie Invitational hosted by New Mexico State (Oct. 3-5) and wraps up the fall season in Paradise Island, Bahamas for the White Sand Bahamas NCAA Women’s Invitational hosted by Little Rock (Oct. 21-23). 

The team begins the spring season in Panama City Beach, Florida for the Lady Bison Bay Point Invitational hosted by Lipscomb (February 5-7) before the Mercer Lake Oconee tournament in Lake Oconee, Georgia (Feb. 18-19). 

SDSU will host the Spring Jackrabbit Invitational in Boulder City, Nevada (March 13-14) and then travel to Florida for the Babs Steffens Invitational in DeBary (March 28-29). State closes the regular season with the Lamar Cardinal Challenge in Beaumont, Texas (April 3-4). The Summit League Championship will take place in Lincoln, Nebraska (April 22-24). 

The Jackrabbits return four members of the 2021-22 squad in Tatum Depuydt, Alex Kandolin, Shakira-Ann Kuys and Piper Stubbs. McKenzie Mages rounds out the roster as the lone newcomer.
