SDSU to hold annual holiday choral Yuletide concerts

BROOKINGS – South Dakota State University will hold its annual holiday choral Yuletide concerts at 2 and 5 p.m. Dec. 12 in the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center’s Larson Concert Hall.

The concerts are a festive celebration with more than 250 students performing from the stage, balcony, aisles and all together on the stage.

The SDSU Concert Choir, Choralia, also known as the Women’s Choir, and the Statesmen will perform. Each group performs individually and as part of a mass ensemble known as the SDSU Choral Artists. The selections are accompanied by a large ensemble of faculty and community instrumentalists. 

Laura Diddle conducts the Concert Choir and Choralia, and Andrew Robinette conducts the Statesmen.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children high school age and under. SDSU students are admitted free of charge with student identification.
