Rangers shut out Bucks, 10-0

YANKTON – The Rangers blasted the Bucks 10-0 during South Dakota Amateur Hockey Association boys’ action Friday night.

Max Kjelden had two goals and an assist, while Wes Koenig lit the lamp twice.

Sean Sullivan totaled one goal and a pair of assists. Ike Johnson and Austin Lesnar both contributed a goal and an assist.

Alec Rice, Jamison Honkomp and Alec Nielson added goals.

Cody Niklason, Charles Marshall and Carter Shoup each dished out two assists, while Trevor Berreth and Noah Drew both added one.

Carter Schultz made nine saves to earn the win in goal.

Brookings led 2-0 after a period and 6-0 through two.

Ryan Eichacker stopped 55 shots for the Bucks (0-7).

Brookings (4-4) takes on Sioux Falls today at 2:15 in the PREMIER Center.
