Friday, Nov. 2

9:19 a.m. Officers took information regarding an order for protection. A report was filed.

2:10 p.m. Officers responded to 900 block of Fourth Street in regard to a fictitious ID. A report was filed.

4:46 p.m. Officers responded to the 2100 block of Eighth Street South for a two-vehicle, injury accident. One vehicle fled the scene prior to officers arriving. One person was transported by ambulance to the Brookings hospital with injuries. The accident remains under investigation.

8:28 p.m. Officers responded to a small fire outside a home in the 200 block of Trail Ridge Road.

8:41 p.m. Officers responded to barking dogs.

Saturday, Nov. 3

9:45 a.m. Officers responded to a crash in the 2100 block of Derdall Drive.

10:22 a.m. Officers responded to a crash in the 600 block of Sixth Street.

10:35 p.m. Fail to maintain financial responsibility; reckless driving; DUI-first offense

Sunday, Nov. 4

12:01 a.m. Sexual contact without consent

1:01 a.m. Officer Pollman conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Third Street for a vehicle driving without headlights. During the investigation, the driver and a passenger were arrested for obstructing law enforcement officers.

1:38 a.m. Officer Jurrens assisted one of the state troopers with a vehicle tow on the west diagonal.

1:46 a.m. Officers from the Brookings Police Department and University Police Department assisted the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office in Volga for a report of a male who was attempting to kick down a door to an apartment. Officers arrived on scene and secured the residence. The male was not located. A report was filed.

2:20 a.m. Officer Pollman conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Seventh Avenue South

for a stop sign violation. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

2:53 p.m. Officers responded to the 2400 block of 10th Street for a crash.

8:09 p.m. Officer Pollman took a one-vehicle, non-injury accident report in the 700 block of 22nd Avenue South. A city accident report was filed.

Monday, Nov. 5

5:50 p.m. Officer Pollman took a report of a hit-and-run that occurred at the intersection of 34th Avenue and Sixth Street. The damaged property was a stop sign.

11:28 p.m. Officers were called to the 300 block of Harvey Dunn for a party. Citations issued for underage consumption and narcotics violations.
