Wednesday, Aug. 10
3:39 p.m. Officers took a report of a minor two-vehicle accident that occurred at Sunrise Ridge Road and Minnesota Drive in Brookings.
9:02 p.m. Officers responded to the 900 block of Second Street to a mental health-related call. A report was taken.
11:12 p.m. Brookings Police conducted a traffic stop. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
Thursday, Aug. 11
12:03 a.m. Officer Doremus conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of Second Street South. The driver was arrested for DUI (drug) and various charges.
4:40 p.m. Brookings Police officers responded to the 2200 block of Sixth Street for a report of a domestic. A male was arrested, and a report was generated.
6:09 p.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to 300 block of Third Street for the report of an assault. One individual was arrested, and a report was filed.
10:42 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of suspicious activity in the 400 block of 15th Street South. A report was filed.
Friday, Aug. 12
10:46 a.m. Brookings Police officers received a report of harassment. A report was generated and the investigation in ongoing.
1:51 p.m. Police officers responded to the 900 block of Second Street for a report of an aggravated assault. A report was generated and the investigation is ongoing.
4:40 p.m. Brookings Police Officers responded to the 2500 block of Sixth Street for a two-vehicle crash. There were no injuries, and a report was generated.
10:57 p.m. Brookings Police stopped a vehicle for a lane-driving violation. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
Saturday, Aug. 13
1:34 a.m. Brookings Police conducted a traffic stop. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
8:42 a.m. Officers responded to the 2100 block of 22nd Avenue South for a possible domestic. Contact was made with involved parties, and a report was taken.
11:27 a.m. Brookings Police were made aware of a no-contact violation that occurred on the 300 block of Third Avenue. One female was taken into custody.
8:07 p.m. Officers responded to the 2500 block of Sixth Street. A report was generated.
10:46 p.m. Brookings Police conducted a traffic stop. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
